Last week, Chuck's cat, Dauphne, dissapeared while I was in Virginia, visiting our Aunt Mariam Lee with my brother. After Dippy had passed I knew we weren't ready for a household cat to go missing. So after Chuck left for the game this morning, I heard a knock at the back door. Yes, all of our cats knock on the back door, in fact the neighbor's cat "Biter" knocks. Anyway, when I opened the door, Dauphne flew in so fast I had to go check to see if it was really her. She and her step brother are both black cats, but she has a white bib. Sure enough, meowing at the top of her lungs, she was glad to be home! Ran to the food bowl, and then settled in for a nap with me on the little day bed. awwww, it's been a good day, when a cat comes home. :)

Lately, I have gotten so many complaints about the president in emails, websites, and every other political machine that is loose. Back when Bush was in office, I didn't pas along trash about him, and I don't know why people feel the need now.
It is amazing things people will complain about. Our president is an important part of our country, this is American history in the making. If the parents don't like the president's party, then this would be a good time to talk to the kids when they get home. Discuss your views with them, instead of simply telling them, "vote republican, because our family has been republican for 10 generations"! Talk to them about the ways that could make our country stronger, in your own opinion. I pray a lot for our country.

Thursday I had the opportunity to go to Jackson's Mill with my friend Teri.
She got to spin, and I got to spend the day combing my clean wool, to spin later, probably this winter. As I try to take out junk from the spare room, I keep finding more wool. It may take all winter to get it spun :) and ooooooooooooo
what a beautiful moon we have. I love an Autumn moon. Since I don't work at the hospital any more I don't worry about the full moon bringing in more sudden deaths than usual. I just look at the beauty God gives us, and I say, hello Moon, good to see you. :)

Quandary

Quandary for today. It would be great to have a fiber group here in Taylor County. Not a club, not a class exactly, just a group of spinners meeting once a week. My biggest quandary is................what would be a good name for the group. I don't want to be involved in anything else that is Taylor County*******.
IT is as though we are afraid folks will forget we are on the map if we don't make sure that our group has Taylor County, written in our groups, names, and activities. That still doesn't look right but I am too tired to rewrite it again;)
Just something to ponder, fiber group name. I'm not sure that spider spinners would go well. ;)
